The Cherish Trout Scouts take fishing seriously. Eager volunteers were happy to help let these little fry loose in their favourite fishing spot! Look Out Lake is a 5 minute drive from Cherish and with stock like this, no one is disappointed on our fishing trips. Look Out Lake began as a fresh water reservoir for WW1 bunkers located at the top of Triangle Mountain. Look Out Lake was a rocky rough spot until the early 1990’s when neighbours Micky Fleming, Nancy Fry and Wendy Clarey decided the neighbourhood lake needed a beach. Many hours of volunteer labour turned the inaccessible water front into a pleasant beach great for sunning, swimming and now fishing! After the ladies left Triangle Mountain neighbourhood, the City of Colwood took over and continues to maintain this lovely little lake.
